About
Welcome to Edutechnophobia
This blog is designed to provide tips, tricks, reviews, and other help to teachers who would like to increase their knowledge of technologies available for their use in their classrooms. I have found that many teachers would like to use more technology in their classroom, but they fall into three main groups:
- Those who don’t know what tools are available for their use
- Those who don’t know how to use those tools in a classroom environment
- Those who prefer to do it the old-fashioned way because it’s easier
I am a high school science and technology teacher who has been unofficially dubbed the “tech guy” at my school. Other teachers often ask me how to do certain things or fix certain problems related to technology. I enjoy helping them in this unofficial capacity.
I also enjoy searching the web for various tools and resources that can make my job as a teacher easier and make the learning process for my students more enjoyable. Because of this, I have amassed a large number of resources that could be beneficial to other teachers.
Because of my experiences and hobbies I feel I am uniquely qualified to develop this blog as a tool to help other teachers. Feel free to visit often to read the new updates or to offer suggestions for new topics on the Suggestions page.
