Do teachers ever use sticky notes or bulletin boards? Do I even need to answer that question?
Wallwisher.com is a free service that acts like a bulletin board or sticky note board. It can be opened up to others to add comments or questions in the form or more notes added to the wall as well. I can see this being helpful for passing on announcements, brainstorming ideas, organizing thoughts, planning, classroom wish lists, etc. There is a plethora of ways this website can be used, including the use by students for projects they may be working on.
At the end of January I wrote an article about the iPad and it’s potential impact in education. Since that time I have done more research and pondering on the topic. I have also convinced my wife to allow me to purchase one when it goes on sell. I can hardly wait!
