Timegg and Minù Timer: Chronometers for lovers of unusualities
Although the standard timer and IOS reminders for most users are enough for the eyes, it happens, overcomes the desire to try something new, unusual – something is, in which the familiar functionality is unexpectedly rethought. These products include Timegg and Minù Timer programs for iOS.
The first one, Timegg, Differs on its multifunctionality. All "space" of the program is divided into four screens: alarm clock (Alarm), reminder (reminder), countdown days (D-Day) and timer (Timer). On each screen, on a kind of dial, it is located on eight "memory cells" where you can burn the appropriate event. The central button switches the activity of that "cell" to which the dial arrow indicates.
The "Taymaga" interface is designed in such a way that the configuration process itself reminds some simple funny game. Sounds of signals and voice acting also play plus. Interesting some moments. For example, for a timer, you can specify the required amount (from 2 to 10) of additional intervals of equal duration – for example, to perform additional actions above the main time. For alarm clock you can decide whether to show or hide the button temporary canceling button on the screen (for 5 minutes). And for reminders – to determine the interval of the repeat: once an hour, once a day, a week or a month.
However, without a spoon, I did not cost: a little upset beautiful compressed font that does not support Cyrillic. Therefore, for the display of our names "fade" a wider system headset (it seems, Helvetica). The rest of the program turned out to be very pretty, comfortable and undoubtedly useful. If the number of simultaneously performed affairs you have a little, and you like to periodically change anything, – Timegg is standing that the dollar that the developers are asking for it.

As for Minù Timer, That in this program of functions is significantly less: Stopwatch and timer. However, these functions are situational. If you click on the start button when the arrow is zero, the program will be the stopwatch. If you turn the arrow before starting the arrow – the countdown of time will start tapping the same button.

Well thought out the interaction of the program with the user: setting the time for the timer is made by rotating the finger along the circle of the dial – exactly as if you were twisted the wheel of classical iPoda. Moreover, this happens with acceleration, has long been inherent Apple interfaces: the faster you will move your finger around the circumference, the faster the time will scroll backwards. Therefore, let’s say, set the reference point at a 45-minute mark in seconds.
Time reset is also done not entirely banal: you need either for a second to hold the start button, or slightly shake the device in pause mode.
Of course, speaking of functionality, it is impossible to say anything about the design of the application, since these two concepts in minù Timer are strongly interrelated. Developers (by the way, Japanese Design Studio) gave their program an appearance of a completely realistic device with which the user works. And if the iPhone or iPad is installed on the docking station, it looks very impressive.
Moreover, in the program there are integer sevenches, one of which is available immediately and for free, and the remaining six – for the dollar. The functionality of this chronometer from the selected "skins" does not depend, so you decide whether to spend this dollar or not. But the themes are very beautiful. 🙂
